Kyle Evans continues to make inroads on the leaders in the 2022 Australian Formula Ford Championship.
After a cautious approach to the open round at Sandown Raceway, Evans went on the attack during Round 2.
Held at the sweeping Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, Evans matched it with the front runners to record point scoring finishes in the opening two races.
Evans was on track for event better points haul in the final race as he joined the freight train of cars vying for the win.
A simple missed gear at the exit of Siberia saw Evans drop out of the lead group to finish the race outside the Top 10.
