Feeling super lucky to walk away from a race incident at Qld Raceway today. Another formula Ford landed on top of me at turn four of race one. For cautionary measures the on track Medical team called an ambulance to get checked out. I have been discharged with minor injuries.
Looking at the car after the incident the scars around the roll-bar are pretty scary along with a few tire marks on my helmet.
A huge thanks to the medical team at the track, ambulance crew, and the doctors and nurses at the local Ipswich Hospital.
My safety equipment absolutely did it’s job.
